Made me think of my own teenage years.
It’s nice to read about characters that age falling in love. It’s possible that I just shouldn’t read second chance stories because I don’t like reading gill the major heartbreak and that’s the rub with second chance stories, because we often don’t see that aspect and I never know if it will be there.

It was a breath of fresh air. Readers Benefits of registering Where are my ebooks? Madison Lansford and Shannon Fletcher met when they were ten years old.
I appreciate the book coz it focus more on to dialouge unlike the other book which they describe the whole place even the smallest details of the street that’s why they are so long but this book is different. And her coming out made me pump my fist in the air. Disobedience, straying from the expected route, is literally impossible for them. Another ferri story written by a talented writer and my favorite author of Lesbian Romance.
I don’t dislike her and I’ve read some of her early books and more recent here and there most before GR. Will read many, many times! Because even things that we know are unattainable flutter within our grasp.
Oh gosh, I forgot that I read this book before. How can she blindly follow her mother’s orders and live a life she never wanted?

Oct 25, Julieta Steyr rated it liked it. Only, this relationship is never explained, it was never actively built by them. She collects things nature offers, like an unusual pinecone, colorful rocks, or an abandoned bird feather. Light, romantic and fluffy read, which hit the “feel good” spot I needed. Not that I expected that whole plot to be hashed out, because that would be no fun, but it was glossed over like it was just so easy and no roadblocks.
So thanks to those authors. I especially like how she kept Madison and Shannon grounded by not letting them have an affair.
But every interaction, since they were fourteen on, is sexually driven. I think I enjoyed the last part of the book the best. While not as common, social barriers still exist.
This is kind of a fluffy cheesy story, but a good one. Rich girl refused to run off with poor girl, and instead married a man she did not love, and had a child.
After it’s arrival, I looked at it and was hesitant because it is about young love, the challenges the lovers face and the mature coming to together as adults. Now, years later, Shannon returns to her old hometown to care for her ailing mother. The main characters are weak, weak, weak.

Well written, good storyline development and very close to truth with some of the decisions and thought processes one makes when leaving grri marriage, coming to terms with sexuality and the courage needed to make a complete change.
